Finally With Bubba!

Jan 30th

OHHHHHH days like yesterday made me feel very good and to top it off I had a blast!!!  See Taunya has a Pug puppy who hasn't managed the doggie door just yet and she usually goes home at lunch to get him outside etc.  Well yesterday she couldn't, called me to see if I could skoot over there, so after my massage I went.  He was still dry which was great and we all played outside three times before I met Taunya and she treated me to supper!  A lovely visit all around!  I can't wait for my next visit to see the changes in Bubba!

Fred and Bubba

I love decent winter weather!

Fred and his ball!

Reminds me of a rabbit!

He's just flying!  So funny to see!

I want up NOW!!!

I just LOVE his eyes!

The three of us resting up for the next play time outside!

Fred's escape place until Bubba learns to jump up!

I got it now!  You dropped it!

Bubba's play pen where his food is too!

Smaller but still he keeps up to Fred!

🤣🤣🤣

Soooooooo cute!!!

He's tired from fetching!

And so patient most times with Bubba!

But in the end Fred wins the ball back!

That is until playing fetch with Fred I dropped my phone into this wet snow, didn't know for a bit, and when I retrieved it there was moisture in the Otter Box that I can't get off.  It still worked but was getting funny so when I got home, into a bag of rice it went!  Seems to be working lots better today!

Hmmmmm! Not Sure About This!

Jan 29th

OH BOY!!!  I think I'm going to drive myself crazy by the time I get this little one sewn up! It's taken me nearly 5 hours to sew up 10 of the 36 rows tonight.  Then I find out I'm very short on the HST sets and had to cut out another 20 - 1.5" HSTs and 20 - 1" black squares - UGH!!! BUT if this turns out like I'm hoping it should it'll be awesome!!!  🙏🙏🙏

Thank You Angela!

Well it was up an attem early for me, picking up Angela 9:30ish and getting home 5ish!  I just loved seeing the hoar frost on the trees!!!  What a lovely day scouring the north east side thrift stores together!  Stopping at Dal's in Transcona for a yummy homemade lunch before checking out the south Pembina stores before dropping her off for curling time!  Now it's me time with feet up!

WOW!!!  This would make an awesome puzzle.

I'm a Happy Camper!

Jan 26th

Well one's hanging!  Just to find the right sized hanger and the other can be too!

Jan 27th

Well not a very productive day needlewise, BUT AWESOME day as with Tommy's help I found my Australia/New Zealand pictures!  See awhile back I found a folder on the laptop 2015 DownUnder pics and was relieved!  BUT it wasn't the WHOLE SHEBANG, only 50 pics I made for that Christmas card mailings.  AND the reason I could not find such a 2015 folder is because they weren't in a folder at all - but still in the MASS grouping Camera folder on one of the cards I had from the phone.

So Tom is grouping all the pictures together and doing a major backup on his system, then I get my HD and laptop back and with ALL my pictures in one folder and on one machine then I'll work on getting rid of duplicates I had copied in new folders.  Then down the line a newer up to date backup will be made!

We also talked about downsizing to a new laptop and external HD and getting rid of these dinasours!  Thank you Tom for your expertise and patience with me and June for the lovely and healthy lunch!  You're both AWESOME!!!

 I'M A . . .

Busy Busy Busy!!!

Jan 23rd

OMGG I've just gone into the sewing room to cut out bindings so opened the drapes!  Now this 20+ inch drift has settled some ( same as the living room) but neither has slipped off the slanted cement ledge 4" below window frame! You can just see the house rooftop in the left corner.  On the weekend I could see the drift form through the drapes but it was toooo cold in here to have a look see.  Glad this isn't my bedroom!!!!

Edna and I took a hand applique class and both fell in love with these and the technique so promptly bought them.  We should have asked questions and would have bought only one set as there are FOUR of each size within the package.  So Edna is willing to sell half of her package.
Right side and second pictures are half the package of Perfect Circles.
Full package was $20.15 (taxes incld)
Half package for sale is $10.00 plus postage for shipping.
Please email or message me if you're interested.
Thank you.

I'll be at this event the whole weekend!  Maybe see you there.  Also I've Raffle Tickets for their beautiful quilt for sale - $2 each.  I'll post the picture in the comments.

Can you believe this!  I had not calculated at all, somehow luck was on my side with this binding.  First off no joins on the corners, no twisted ends or joins and only this little bit cut off on either side!  WOW!!!

Jan 24th

OK, either I'm finally catching on or when not tired from retreat excitement, I've again got the binding on first try!  WOOO HOOOO!!!!  So while the hocky all star skills competition is airing, I'm going to be stitching!  Next post will be of both hangers on display!!!!

Jan 25th

OK I didn't get my wall hangings completed last night, only have to anchor down the sleeves.  Just about, but had to stop because of painful finger pricks, no I don't use a thimble! BUT another idea popped into my head around 3am and stuck with me so that meant I had to start it ASAP!  Even though it involved squaring up and I can't find my 4x6 inch rotating mat, dang it!  🤣🤣🤣  Here's a teaser!!!  😉

I sewed up those HSTs and cut out my strips today (I need more, maybe repeat a few, but am not going to buy anymore and the larger prints just won't work here).  Enough sewing HSTs and moving strips around, I give up and will let my mind relax!  Maybe tomorrow I'll see things better!  My intention is to go light top to dark bottom using my Canada fabrics!  I've added the greyscale here to help me.

Yahooiee!!!  I've managed to tat a couple more angels asked for.  Even tried one with the other metallic I bought at my first tatting conference/retreat - #313 Sand Dollar!  Sure making use of my lovely dragonfly gift!!!

Very very late last night or very early this morning I finished both wall hangings!  Now just to find hangers wide enough to get them on my walls!
