Oooohhhhhh it's nice and just warm for our PPF walk this evening. Not sure how I'll do as my sciatic is bugging me! 😟 Slow and sure hopefully! 👌
Walk ended at my apartment but I forgot to shut off app so map shows longer than actually noted here in the calculations. Auto is separate.

DANG IT!!!! I swear I'm going to be a simile of Mary Poppins but with the deck and canopy! Dogs aren't sure about this wind but the temperature is nicer! OK that lasted half hour or so! Griffin is a scaredy cat but when Wheeler came running for the door after the worst gusts and shaking of canopy and deck I took pity on them and in we went! Hmmmm, this better blow over!!!!

Yahooie, today with sporadic showers! Overnight and now again!
Well we're getting that thunderstorm ⛈ shower today instead of yesterday and these boys don't like as well as ME! The boomer was so loud and close the TV is out and everyone scattered running over each other and me vacuuming! OHHHH GOSH THAT WAS CLOSER!!!! ⚡ Please go away, just rain OK!

Well I was very close to scrapping it totally and purchasing something online and sent directly as a gift to my tatting exchange recipient. Obviously I'm not as experienced as I thought I was or I chose a very difficult technique. Will have to think about future swaps and do immediate searches before signing up. I hope I'm not discouraged from entering in future swaps! I sure love swaps and meeting others!
I used Muskaan's T*I*P*S, Interlaced Split Rings using B. Under and Over Movement. The tutorial was easy to understand, it was just my two hands not cooperating!
Also used Riet's Dragonfly pattern with my own changes plus this time I used Anne Ferrier's instructions for adding beads while tatting my split rings! So much easier and lots nicer than sewing in the beads and guessing the number of stitches required!

A nice day on a bus trip to Sand Hills Casino with Mary! Not my lucky day but only list $43 so not bad I guess. Then I decided to toss in $25 and when the bells and whistles started I cashed out at $54.70 - so guess I'm ahead $12.36 - lotsa better when using a calculator!!!!!
Aug 30th
Feeling awesome today! All my tiredness and soreness from yesterday are gone and I'm smiling! Doing errands and stopped into the office to contribute to Cindy K's retirement party. Was thrilled I remembered so much ASL from 4 years ago and had a chat with John G! YEAH!!!!
Then I decided to return to my old haunt and have the usual for old times sake!!!
I know I can't afford a school zone fine again, once was enough! Watch and slow up!
