Thursday

Another lunch ay Mongo's Grill in lieu of gift giving Linda and I enjoyed a lovely visit over yummy food!  Yes I even watched what I chose and selected more veggies!  Merry Christmas Linda!

Too bad Dianne is down south, as we were in her end of the city enjoying our lunch.   I tried to shop at KP but no luck, but I did text my walking friend Nestor and we made a number of rounds plus coffee before I headed elsewhere.  Just got home 6:30ish - UGH!!! - but I've got walking boots on sale at Shoe Warehouse!

E-Cards are Complete!

Well finally and I'm relieved to have completed my e-cards for family and friends!  Not sure why this year it was such a pain, but now I can rest, it's done!!!

Awesome Times with Friends

Thankfully I've had a not bad Monday Dr followup from regular bloodwork!  See since late summer I've been mistreating myself food wise and thought it would be bad!  Well my BS, BP and thyroid readings were good, could be a bit better but considering he was pleased.  But my cholesterol was the highest I've had and one more 3 months to lower or I'm on meds! YUCK!

OK after that Edna and I went for our 6.5 km walk in the Outlet Mall, then home to do some bookwork and basic supper with good readings 2 hrs afterwards.  I even pressed all my Bobbin Lace tote and accessories pieces ready for the quilting stage then assembly.

Strips - top is between larger squares, shorter is between pocket and front tote, after all rounded and zippers inserted in top halves of strips.

Circle - coffee cup tote.

Rectangles - folded in half for zippered pouches. 

Then today I did more bookwork etc before heading over to Eileen's to finish off her new Christmas ornaments.  Again Bruce took pictures of us and I finished off after Eileen hung them on her trees!  And I even was given meat tarts to take home - thank you!  We definitely need to do this more often my friend!

Gone to the Dogs!

This was an awesome surprise to see a real tree decorated PLUS the dogs posed too! Awesome job Angie! And Wheeler has been behavin' too! Ohhhh and this is hilarious! Wheeler went downstairs, Jake the cat following but stopped before the bottom, Wheeler wanted to come back up but wouldn't pass Jake who wanted to play or harrass him. Not sure why but Wheeler avoids Jake whereas Griffin plays with him. So after a bit I hear this sharp whining short bark, look over the railing and there's a stand off between a cat and a huge Bernese dog! Finally I took pity and shooed Jake from his mission and just got out of the way of Wheeler's charge up the stairs. 🤣 Then since it was a lovely afternoon I chased them outside, I stayed on the deck and played chase with Griffin while Wheeler stayed out in the yard barking and frolicking! Crazy I know!

And on the way home look what I came across!  GO JETS GO!!!!!

Janice's Birthday Continues

☃️ Yeah my baby has her new window PLUS it's all vacuumed even the hatch and her muddy exterior all clean and shiny. Thank you so very much Luc and staff at Pembina Auto Body and Glass! WOW!!!

Janice's birthday celebration seems to be going on and on like the Ever Ready Energizer Bunny!  We're here at the Pony Coral at Grant Park with her friends!  It is awesome but I'm still stuffed 2 hours later!

He wanted his ear plugs from his mask then goofed around!

It was a great evening with just a mild headache the next day for a couple hours.

Talk about an awesome BIRTHDAY for Janice today and for a nice long walk too with a friend!  Thank you for the pressies too, gonna take the Jets sockets for slippers in Cuba for sure!

Kildonan Park on the pathway bridge. 

Walked all the way to Rivergrove and Macbeth Parks before turning around.   Glad I remembered the way from our summer Pathfinders walks!  A place Janice has not been!
