Aug 9th
Well I'm using my trusty upright stitch ripper to separate chain piecings. I missed these purple flowers earlier 💜 but snapped them on our way to the common area to play Yahtzee. Then back to our trailer, Sylvia to colour and me to play games, 8:30 is too early to retire! Ohhhh and to kill these pesky tiny flies!
Well talk about a lovely day! Hmmmm that is except for the overnight VERY VERY NOISY thunderstorm, seemed like overhead!!! I was kept awake a couple hours and dozed fitfully till morning!
We had breakfast then headed for Dryden, some shopping, visit with Florence and Roy before meeting Sylvia's friends for lunch! AWESOME!!! Stopped in to see Eleanor's lovely yard before doing a bit more shopping.
On the way back to the camp we stopped into the The Quilting Trunk for some shopping and visiting with Joanne, who was soooo glad to see Sylvia! Her hubby asked if we were fishing - nope - sewing yes! He was not impressed as Cliff Lake is a fishing lake!!! That's not our kind of vacation!
Supper will be grilled hamburgers and veggies!
