Purging Has Started Again!!!

Yep excited, pooped and enthused to do more too!!!

Okay I just spent maybe 3 hours in the sewing room and I'm pooped, feet up now! The area rug is down, stuff cleared off the sewing table so I could move it and the small drawer tower into place. There was a box marked "sewing misc", so opened it and found one of my thergonomic craft gloves, a few useful items, lots garbaged and some recycled. WOW!!!

Then saw the large 3-drawer plastic chest, usually behind this box plus others, full of scraps and half the bottom drawer had Christmas in there. I decided to put my plastic shoe boxes of large spool threads into there, off the floor. So left the Christmas fabrics there for now, kept maybe a shoe box of good fabric pieces for scrappy quilts and added another grocery bag to the three scrap request ones gathered. Now to call the ladies that requested scraps and get these out soon! 😉

Enough for today, unless to put my machine in place hooked up ready to quilt my Indigenous quilt for MPQ and tackle the threads!

Talk about a surprise! Guess someone was bored during the 1.5 hr alone time. So probably a free for all eating their kibble supper left on the back counter and some fun too! The new yellow lab is mischievous! BRAT!!!!!

Naturally all three are napping innocently!

1st bowl found.

2nd bowl found.

3rd bowl found.

The beauty of nature enjoying the garden!

It's 5 pm and is this 'I'm waiting" look?

Hmmm since they ate their supper early this morning, do they really deserve supper! Just kidding!!!!

Reminds me of the pugs' supper time look too!

Had a lovely afternoon at Sylvia's while we sandwiched our Indigenous quilts (hopefully quilted and bound before Sept 30th), Sylvia started quilting her's and I continued sewing up previously cut rail fence block pieces.

I brought over pulled pork and ceasar salad for supper and Sylvia made blueberry crisp with ice cream topping. Was nice to have a sewing day again!

 Ohhh look what's hanging on her apartment door?

Phew, it's a warming up in here again!  I had to connect my AC as it was 85 in here!  Thanks to Bruce for making the adjustment to fit the new window!

Still can open drapes once sun is gone in centre and left side to open the other window on coolish days.  YEAH!!!

These thoughts (written by another) just about sum it up.

You are not vaccinated, I respect your choice, (provided you don't invade my space and adversely impact me or persons important to me);

I am vaccinated, respect my choice ...

I'm vaccinated, not to please the government but:

* To not die from Covid-19.

* To NOT clutter a hospital bed if I get sick.

* To hug my loved ones

* To Not have to do PCR or antigenic tests to go to a dance, go to a restaurant, go on vacation and many more things to come ...

* To live my life.

* To have my kids/grandkids go back to school and play sports.

* For Covid-19 to be an old memory.

* To protect us.

On the other hand, no, I don't know what's in it - neither in this vaccine, the ones I had as a child, nor in the Big Mac, or in hot dogs, or in other treatments, whether it's for cancer, AIDS, the one for  polyarthritis, vaccines for infants or children.

I also don't know what's in Ibuprofen, Tylenol, or other meds, it just cures my headaches, my pains ...

I don't know what's in the ink for tattoos.

In short ...

There's a lot of things I don't know.

I just know one thing: life is short, very short,  so I still want to do something other than just going to work every day or staying cloistered at home. I still want to travel and hug people without fear, find a little feeling of life "before".

As a child and as an adult I've been vaccinated for mumps, measles, rubella, polio, chicken pox, yellow fever and a few others; my parents and I trusted the science and never had to suffer through or transmit any of said diseases ... just saying.

Text copied, you can too.

Gardens at the Leaf, Assiniboine Park.

A lovely day! Angela's hubby Bruce came to my rescue to cut the AC window bracket to fit and shave down one foot of my bulletin board stand to fit under the serger table! Then out for coffee with Edna then surprised her with a walk in the Leaf Garden at Assiniboine Park. What a beautiful place and glad it was coolish weather to keep others away some! I can imagine what this place will be like in a couple years! Then finished off with supper at George's with Sylvia, who also likes this place too, going home with half her meal! I've not been there for years, glad to see all is the same and scrumptious!!! Now feet up!

The Leaf, far way off to opening yet!
