PPF Walk in Stephenfield Prov Park
Even though I got lost driving to Stephenfield Prov Park SW of Winnipeg, we did finally get there 20 minutes late and the group had headed out like 5 minutes before. Edna, Linda, Patricia and myself set out with Leona's instructions but weren't sure if to turn right or left at the fork in the path. I chose left and after 3 kms we came face to face with the group. Lucky us. So we turned around and joined them - missing out on the lake walk but we did get in the second loop we would have missed and the dam. Awesome scenery for our 5o+ registered walkers. Then off to La Riviere for their annual pickerel fishfry with baked potato, baked beans, coleslaw, bun, beverage and Chapman's ice cream - all for $16 - delicious. Then the long ride home. No ticks on me but one on both Linda and Edna.
