Aug 25th
Today was interesting! See our elevator is out of service starting early today and possibly out all week for major maintenance. We were told Thursday and I was out of the city till Saturday so I thought it was too late to make changes to my Monday morning dental appointment, but changed my other ones for the following week.
So I carefully walked down the six flights and drove the three blocks instead of walking. After the appointment I stopped at Tim's before heading home. So I slowly walked up one flight, then across that hallway to the opposite stairwell and continued till I reached the sixth floor. Needless to say my hip ached and I rested feet up afterwards. I'm definitely not going down unless absolutely necessary until it's fixed!!! Hopefully sooner than later!
