Finally I've taken the pics of the placemats I finished the past two weeks for ACQ Meals on Wheels program. I tried to use up some of my Canada themed fabrics but didn't make much of a dent! Fronts and coordinating backs in one picture.

Adele I hope you are doing better! 💞 I missed our chat and your awesome hair care!
Today I visited Georgia at Hair Passion and she too lifted my spirits even with my lingering cold!

Well not the greatest start today after being woken up 11:30pm by a WICKED T-storm for a couple hours.
But I did beat the odds finishing with short ends my tatted snowflake Star 1 by Laura Bziukiewicz "Tatting Christmas Decorations" in size 20 Lizbeth. I had to switch to the chain shuttle for the last two rings as you can see the rings shuttle just about ran out!!!!! 🐔🐔🐔
Well today was the first class at ACQ and sounded like all were enjoying it with many completing there tops before I left at 2pm. Pat maybe halfway complete? Sylvia worked on her small totes, Edna worked some more on her hand quilting on her Celtic tree and I on my tatting!
Then back to the dogs to set a spell outside with them (only 2 as 2 are out at lake cottage for the weekend) before the Jays vs NYY game. Hmmmm TV says 5pm but the score just flashed an update, gotta figure out what's going on.
UPDATE: Pat sent me a pic of her completed top, needs paper torn off, pressed and then assembled for quilting.

Well woke very late 9ish and surprised the dogs left me past their 7am breakfast! WOW!!!
Rough night with aches but OK!
WTH????? Crows/Ravens are going crazy out my window. Some are flying up over my building then gliding down into the treetops! WEIRD!!!

Well I guess I've more energy finally!!! Last night I pulled out my previously cut/planned I Spy blocks and sewed up nine 9" ones before calling it quits, a few more yet to sew up.
Today I pulled nine 6x10x15" tubs of colour coordinated selveges, that were unstable, some were not full, so I combined some down to five of these tubs plus a small one of whites. These I put on the closet upper shelf and that heavier larger batiks tub onto the floor for easy access.
Then I Googled the Potato Chip block and proceeded to cut up my novelty fabric smaller pieces before tackling the FQs etc another day. I'm now hoping to have specific easy UFO projects continuing and hopefully to more ABC quilts sooner than later.

Congratulations Blue Jays on first round! 🎉
Good luck in future!!! 🙏
Today was a good day for me and I accomplished a lot at Meadowood Quilters. See I had a bag full of my "I Spy" 9.5" blocks sewn up over the past three years, then Tuesday I sewed up another nine more and today I think 13 for a total of 72 blocks, yes I counted! This will make one 3x4 blocks with 1" sashing between and 3" border all around - around 37x47" baby quilt and three 4x5 blocks - around 47x57" kids quilts. Now to get them assembled with sashing/corner stones, borders and quilted!!! Some may gave blue borders, depending.
Also yesterday I cut out a slew of 2.5x4.5" pieces for my first potato chip quilt block and today I managed to sew up my first one. It was easy peasy and now I'm anxious to get to work on them too. So hopefully a few ABC quilts before Christmas!
Sylvia worked on her pouches. Finishing one and just about finished the second one!
I love these sewing days very much, nothing to distract me from the plan!!!

A quiet day out shopping and a shared lunch at Boston Pizza before heading back to Sylvia's to finish off the fishy puzzle!!! Then I helped her attempt to set up the next puzzle that said it was a 1000 Bits n Pieces, HUH, not two pieces are the same!!! Strange, that the border pieces were separate from the rest of the pieces! Well after putting that together, started separating the other pieces we saw why! There are a LOT of pieces that could honestly be border pieces. I think when we're done with this one those border pieces will be broken up and placed into a sandwich bag before it's swapped out! Only fair since someone did that for us!!!
