Week 3 of 2017 Year of Stitches

I've finally caught up on my Week #3 of my 1 Year of Stitches: 2017 project.  But still 5 days behind - SHEESH!  That weekend quilt retreat really set me back but was worth it!  Oh and I've finally got the knack of photo collage done in minutes instead of my painstakingly slow way.

Week #3 squares of my Annual Panel were filled in with:
Jan 15th - Pencil Pine - Cupressus sempervirens
Jan 16th - Bee & Butterfly
Jan 17th - Passionflower - Passiflora caerulea
Jan 18th- Ornamental Grape - Vilis alicante - Autumn
Jan 19th - Grape Hyacinth - Muscari armeniacum
Jan 20th - Lamb's Ear - Stachys byzantina
Jan 21st - Solomon's Seal - Polygonatum multiflirum

On the Rose table topper I worked the leaves in fishbone stitch with DMC 936 and started filling in the lighter sections of the rose in satin stitch with DMC 725.

Embroiled one a day is a huge commitment and you are doing well to stay close to that.
Another lovely bouquet of flora and stitches . I forget - are you choosing the flowers from a particular book or randomly ?

Thank you. I'm using a book by Diana Lampe called 'Embroidery for all Seasons' and then some add in of my own.

They're really pretty! That's a hard target you've set yourself.
